MAY HOLIDAYS - two public holiday Mondays when Surgery will be closed

The Surgery will be closed from 6 pm on Friday 4 May and will re-open on Tuesday 8 May 2018.

 "PHARMACY FIRST" RUN BY PHARMACIES

This new service is for patients with uncomplicated urinary tract infections in women aged 16-65 years and impetigo for those aged >2.  The Pharmacist may offer advice, NHS treatment (free) or referral, as appropriate.  Pharmacies in Milngavie offering this service are Graeme's Pharmacy (956 1710) and Gordon's Pharmacy (956 5235).

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please note that every Tuesday, the Surgery will be closed for training purposes between 12 noon and 1.30 pm.

New Scottish Cervical Screening Campaign

A new campaign has been developed to grab the attention of young women aged 25-35, and start breaking down some barriers to attending.

DON'T IGNORE YOUR NEXT SMEAR INVITE AND IF YOU MISSED YOUR LAST SMEAR TEST, CONTACT YOUR GP PRACTICE TO FIND A TIME THAT SUITS YOU.

 

SELF CHECK-IN SCREEN

Why not bypass the queue and check yourself in for your appointment when you come to the surgery?  The check in screen is situated in the waiting room and is easy to use.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS

During the month of March 2018  - 76 appointments were not kept at this Practice.

PLEASE be thoughtful and let us know if you cannot attend as this will allow us to offer the appointment to another patient.

Welcome to Kersland House Surgery

We hope that we are able to assist you in times of medical need and that we can, by adopting a proactive role, help you and your families to stay healthy.

The practice is conveniently located near the station, accessed through the underpass and from the main street.

We  have a small car park to the rear of the premises accessed via Buchanan Street and Grange Avenue. Parking is limited and we ask you to remove your vehicle as soon as your visit to the surgery is complete.

Access for the disabled is provided on the level from the disabled spaces accessed via a side gate at the bottom of Hillhead street.

If you need to use this disabled parking please arrange your appoinments outwith school delivery and collection times as Hillhead Street becomes congested with small children and their parents.

Please browse the Minor Illness section for information regarding seeking advice from the Pharmacist or other Health Professional - see tab on right.

We do ask people with minor illnesses such as sore throats and colds to see their pharmacist for advice rather than their GP
