Dr Paul Treon is our new Partner and he joins us from Friday 1 December 2017

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Please note that every Tuesday (starting from 12 December 2017), the Surgery will be closed for training purposes between 12 noon and 1.30 pm.

CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS

The Surgery will close on Friday 22 December 2017 at 6 pm and re-open on Wednesday 27 December 2017 at 8.30 am for the Christmas holiday.  For the New Year holiday, the Surgery will close on Friday 29 December at 6 pm and re-open on Wednesday 3 January 2018 at 8.30 am.

DO NOT FORGET TO ORDER YOUR MEDICATION EARLY SO YOU DO NOT RUN OUT OVER THE CHRISTMAS/NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS.

New Scottish Cervical Screening Campaign

A new campaign has been developed to grab the attention of young women aged 25-35, and start breaking down some barriers to attending.

DON'T IGNORE YOUR NEXT SMEAR INVITE AND IF YOU MISSED YOUR LAST SMEAR TEST, CONTACT YOUR GP PRACTICE TO FIND A TIME THAT SUITS YOU.

 

SELF CHECK-IN SCREEN

Why not bypass the queue and check yourself in for your appointment when you come to the surgery?  The check in screen is situated in the waiting room and is easy to use.

MISSED APPOINTMENTS

During the month of October 2017  - 75 appointments were not kept at this Practice.

PLEASE be thoughtful and let us know if you cannot attend as this will allow us to offer the appointment to another patient.

For immediate and life-threatening emergencies including heart attacks and strokes, 'phone 999 and ask for the ambulance service.

When the Surgery is closed, emergencies will be dealt with by the out-of-hours service - telephone number 111

* Saturday morning appointments are available from 8.30, finishing at 12.30 pm and must be pre-booked in advance.  The surgery will be closed for all other matters, so please do not arrive expecting to see a nurse, collect a prescription or arrange an appointment. Only patients with appointments will be admitted via the intercom.
