There is a local carers support group called Carers Link. Their telephone number is: 0800 975 2131 or 0141 955 2131.
Their address is: Milngavie Enterprise Centre, Ellangowan Ct, Milngavie, G62 8PH.

Taking a break
Caring for someone can be a full-time job, but it is essential that you take time out for yourself. Carers Link can put you in touch with the Social Work Department who can help with respite breaks.
OPAL is East Dunbartonshire's Information Line for Older People - their telephone number is 0141 438 2347, which is available Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm
