Physical Activity
One of the most effective ways of living a healthy life for longer. Physical activity is any form of movement that expends energy - there is something for everyone.
The UK's Chief Medical Officer recommends 150 minutes of moderate intensity activity per week and strengthening exercises at least twice a week. Information on physical activity for those aged 19 to 64 can be found here. For older adults please click here.
Healthy Eating
Eating a healthy balanced diet can help to prevent many chronic diseases illness. It is often difficult to know which food choices are healthy, and we often don’t have the time to make healthy choices. However, making better food choices can improve our health and how we feel. Sleep
Adequate quantity and quality of sleep are important for physical and mental wellbeing, unfortunately up to one third of adults in the UK struggle with sleep. However, there is help available for sleep problems. Find out more here.
